About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled PHI Application Specialist to join our IT Team at Defence Health.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining quality configuration and code for DHL's Private Health Insurance (PHI) core application suite.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust and documented configuration and code for PHI core applications
  • Provide specialist technical advice relating to PHI core applications
  • Develop and maintain quality configuration and code for PHI core applications
  • Provide training and guidance to the service desk team

About You

You're a motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in application configuration and development.

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Application configuration and development experience of 3 years+
  • Experience with Java/Groovy scripting or similar programming languages
  • Willingness to learn and configure new technologies and languages
  • Demonstrated experience providing application support
  • Experience using ITIL framework
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyze systems and processes and specify changes to the
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Experienced problem solver
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team
