We are seeking an experienced Application Support Specialist to join our team at Energy Australia. As a key member of our IT operations team, you will be responsible for providing operational efficiency of our Applications and maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implementing, configuring, and supporting applications to ensure availability, performance, reliability, maintainability, serviceability, and capacity in line with agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Resolving all incidents and requests in line with SLAs and undertaking problem management, working closely with the end user.
  • Assisting with the development of an application consolidation strategy and plan to simplify our application landscape.
  • Maintaining documentation of all application and integration components for support purposes in accordance with required standards.
  • Working closely with internal EA stakeholders, predominantly On-Site employees.
  • Supporting System Administration functions for several key large business systems.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in ICT or similar field or comparative years of experience working with Application Support.
  • ITIL or COBIT Foundation certificate or equivalent experience in Incident & Problem management.
  • Azure/AWS Foundation certification (not mandatory).
  • Vendor management experience and/or good communication skills.
  • Experience working with Maximo and/or Ellipse asset management systems.
  • Exposure to energy industry or similar large, complex industrial environments.
