About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team at Agricultural Appointments. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales strategies, supporting our dealer network, and fostering growth across various business areas.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers and customers through regular visits and communication.
  • Provide Support: Offer technical sales support to dealers, ensuring their pipelines are up-to-date and their needs are met.
  • Network: Enhance our business brand by building industry relationships and identifying new opportunities.
  • Hit Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales goals for your territory, driving revenue and profit growth.
  • Plan & Execute: Create and implement sales plans for new and existing customers, leveraging your knowledge of the market and industry trends.
  • Know the Market: Stay up-to-date on market developments and provide forecasts to inform business decisions.
  • Achieve Goals: Meet revenue and profit targets, contributing to the success of our client.
  • Use Tech: Utilize Salesforce, Excel, and other company programs effectively to manage your sales activities.
  • Spot Opportunities: Identify and capitalize on business opportunities in new and expanding areas of the business.
About You

We are looking for an individual with experience in agronomy or agriculture, who understands the complexities of the agricultural sector. As a skilled problem solver and team player, you will be committed to achieving team objectives and driving business growth.

  • Motivated & Persistent: You thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Great Communicator: You excel at managing accounts and developing business relationships, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Travel-Ready: You are willing to travel up to 50%, including overnight stays, to meet with customers and dealers.
  • Value Seller: You are skilled in value-added selling and making sound decisions to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Education: A formal education in agriculture is a plus, but not essential.
