Salary

$65,000 - $85,000 per annum + superannuation, based on experience.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will work with individuals who require support in various settings, including their own homes or within our community-based services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred support to individuals, promoting independence, autonomy, and choice;
  • Develop and implement individualised support plans, in consultation with the individual and their support network;
  • Work collaboratively with other service providers and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required;
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain expertise in disability support.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in a field such as social work, disability studies, or a related field;
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in a similar role or in a relevant field;
  • Strong understanding of person-centred practice, inclusive culture, and trauma-informed care;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with diverse individuals and groups;
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
