The Mathematics Faculty Coordinator will lead the pursuit of excellence in teaching and learning, focusing on content knowledge, teaching methodologies, classroom management, assessment, and reporting within the subject area.
Key Responsibilities- Implement CECG's Catalyst Program and High Impact Teaching Practices by actively engaging in professional learning, reading, conversations, and support processes.
- Develop and oversee a dynamic curriculum aligned with national and state requirements, as well as whole-school goals.
- Work with staff to incorporate new developments in teaching and learning.
- Evaluate courses to ensure they cater to diverse individual needs and learning styles, modifying curriculum and assessment as necessary.
- Create individual professional learning plans and participate in relevant professional development activities.
- Foster effective relationships with students, staff, and parents, promoting a safe and secure environment.
- Bachelor of Teaching or Master in Teaching degree.
- Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) and/or Working with Children's Check (WWCC) registrations.
- Teaching Quality Institute (TQI) registration and/or NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation.
Estimated salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
