About the role:

The Talent International team is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day business operations and ensuring that all activities are aligned with our business strategy. Your expertise in managing compliance and risk will be invaluable in maintaining a high level of service quality.

Key Responsibilities and Selection Criteria:

  1. Compliance and Risk Management: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including the NDIS Practice Standards and the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Commission.
  2. Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver high-quality services.
  3. Service Coordination: Coordinate residential services to participants in receipt of Supported Independent Living and Specialist Disability Accommodation.
  4. Quote Development: Develop and submit service quotes to the NDIA and other funding programs.
  5. Safe Work Practices: Manage safe work practices, including identifying and mitigating risks associated with community service delivery.

Essential Requirements:

  1. Extensive Knowledge: Extensive knowledge and understanding of the needs of vulnerable and elderly people, including people with a disability and their carers.
  2. Supervisory Experience: Demonstrated experience in the supervision of teams.
  3. Community Care Knowledge: Broad knowledge of the community care sector and its operation.
  4. Tertiary Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Health, Community Services, Aged Care, Disability).
