We are seeking an experienced Senior Risk Operations Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will have 2-3 years' experience in an operational risk analyst/reporting capacity in an institutional banking business.

The role involves:

  • Coordinate the implementation of Head Office Procedures (HOPs) within the Branch.
  • Monitor the implementation of mandatory HOP requirements by Departments.
  • Gather, analyze, and summarize information necessary for transaction volume monthly analysis and key risk indicator reports.
  • Act as the coordination point for the Risk Department within the Branch.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, project management abilities, and effective communication skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2-3 years' experience in an operational risk analyst/reporting capacity in an institutional banking business.
  • Understanding of Australian financial markets environment and products.
  • Analytical skills and ability to build solid arguments and proactive ideas/solutions.
  • Project management and time management skills – ability to deliver to deadlines.
  • Effective professional-level communication skills, including fluency in spoken and written English.
