Strategic Sales Director

Gigamon is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Director to lead our Melbourne expansion. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and building strategic relationships with our customers in the region.
About GigamonWe are a leading provider of visibility and analytics solutions for hybrid cloud networks. Our technology helps organizations improve customer experience, eliminate security blind spots, and reduce cost and complexity.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for sales of company's products within assigned geographic territory and named accounts.
- Achieves sales budget by growing existing accounts and developing new ones.
- Maintains database of customers and enters interactions in SalesForce database.
- Develops effective sales calls using available resources.
- Sells new and existing products, discovers new opportunities, and secures incremental business.
- Explores, identifies, and communicates potential opportunities with Regional Business Managers and Product Managers.
- Closes new business opportunities through consistent performance of effective sales calls.
- 10+ years of direct selling experience in Networking or Network Security space.
- Experience with SalesForce and forecasting.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, CIS, or related field preferred.
- Background in sales engineering or training in CS, IT, EE a plus.
- Estimated salary range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
