Medical Officer Job in Rehabilitation Ward

Maitland Private Hospital offers a supportive environment with patient-centred care for a Medical Officer to join our Rehabilitation Ward. The role requires providing medical cover, participating in patient assessment and management, and supporting clinical governance and quality improvement.

Key Qualifications
  • Current Working with Children Check and Police Check.
  • Understanding of Rehabilitation Model of Care.
  • Ability to identify deviations in diagnostic results and to appropriately act/manage and notify VMO accordingly.
  • Demonstrated clinical and procedural experience adequate to undertake the roles required of a Ward CMO.
  • Strong collaborative interpersonal skills with well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
  • Immunisation evidence and serology report in accordance with NSW Health.
  • Australian permanent resident status or equivalent work rights required.
  • Experience with hospital computer data systems and relevant applications.
  • Previous private hospital experience and/or Medical & Rehabilitation experience.
