A Rehabilitation Consultant plays a pivotal role in supporting individuals who have sustained physical and/or psychological injuries at work. As a key member of a multidisciplinary team, you will be instrumental in facilitating the journey from rehabilitation to recovery.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with stakeholders, including injured employees and employers, medical specialists, and other allied health professionals to devise comprehensive rehabilitation plans.
- Conduct diverse assessments, encompassing Vocational Assessments, Transferrable Skills Assessments, Job preparation services, Worksite Assessments, and initial needs assessments to inform case management decisions.
- Develop, implement, and monitor rehabilitation plans through meticulous case management, ensuring alignment with return-to-work objectives.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, promoting a seamless transition back to work, whether returning to their previous role or transitioning to new employment opportunities.
- Current registration or membership with AHPRA or ASORC.
- Tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling or Psychology.
- Demonstrated clinical expertise, with the ability to engage effectively across multidisciplinary teams to support shared goals.
- A genuine passion for helping others recover; Occupational Rehabilitation experience is highly valued.
