Job Title: Rehabilitation Consultant

As a key professional in our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals who have sustained physical and/or psychological injuries at work.

  • You will utilize your clinical expertise to facilitate the rehabilitation journey of clients, working collaboratively with various stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • You will conduct comprehensive assessments, including vocational evaluations, transferable skills analyses, job preparation services, workplace assessments, and initial needs assessments.
  • You will engage with diverse stakeholders, including injured employees, employers, medical specialists, and allied health professionals, to develop and implement customized rehabilitation plans through case management.

Your caseload will be varied, with exposure to multiple industries, including transportation, agriculture, government, construction, hospitality, retail, manufacturing, and professional services.

You will experience a sense of purpose and fulfillment as you support clients in returning to their previous roles or discovering new career opportunities.

As part of a global organization, you will have opportunities for career advancement in human services across multiple brands and geographies, working alongside a diverse team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply clinical reasoning skills to support rehabilitation journeys

Requirements
  • Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ASORC/RCAA)
  • Tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling or Psychology
  • Strong clinical reasoning skills
  • Ability to engage effectively across multidisciplinary teams
  • Passion for helping individuals rehabilitate
  • Occupational Rehabilitation experience highly desirable
