Job Title:

A rehabilitation specialist is needed to join our multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals.

As a rehabilitation consultant, you will help people regain their independence and achieve their goals in life and work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct occupational rehabilitation assessments, including activities of daily living, home, worksite, functional, ergonomic, equipment evaluations
  • Develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans based on assessments relevant to your discipline
  • Design and implement intervention programs using occupation to improve functional performance, independence, and work capacity
  • Identify barriers and design, implement, and monitor programs that support individuals to achieve maximal work participation
  • Understand various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empower clients to achieve their wellness and recovery objectives
  • Liaise with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, or Physiotherapy
  • Registration with either AHPRA or ESSA
  • A genuine desire to make a measurable impact in people's lives
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with clients and stakeholders
  • A customer-first mindset with a focus on quality outcomes
  • Confidence working independently in the community
  • A driver's license and vehicle required
  • Eligibility for a working with children's check and police clearance
