About the Role

The Community Partnerships Lead is a key role in our organization's Community Wellbeing team, working closely with colleagues to deliver impactful health and wellbeing initiatives.

Strengthening community partnerships and stakeholder management are crucial to this role.

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with community organizations, government departments, and internal stakeholders.
  • Facilitate consistent communication and collaboration between us and community partners.
  • Lead and coordinate our volunteer management portfolio, resulting in increased volunteer recruitment, retention, and satisfaction across all programs.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Tertiary qualification in community development or a related field, with demonstrated experience in community engagement and partnership development.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently, including planning, implementation, and evaluation of community wellbeing initiatives.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including report preparation, presentation delivery, and meeting facilitation.
  • Understanding of community development principles and current trends in volunteering.
