Human Resources Manager Role

Job Summary:

The role of Human Resources Manager involves leading initiatives focused on enhancing the efficiency, consistency, and impact of our HR function. This includes planning and implementing HR transformation and process improvement initiatives across the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a comprehensive audit of existing HR policies and identify inconsistencies or outdated practices.
  • Develop and execute a structured change management plan to update and implement revised policies, ensuring compliance with Australian legislative requirements.
  • Collaborate with Payroll and Finance teams to review current allowance structures and recommend standardization options.
  • Review current employee benefits and entitlements, benchmarking offerings against market standards and internal equity goals.
  • Map the current end-to-end employee lifecycle, identifying gaps or inefficiencies and designing a streamlined model from attraction to exit.
  • Evaluate performance management practices and develop a fit-for-purpose framework that supports regular feedback, development, and accountability.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A bachelor's degree.
  • 7+ years of HR experience, ideally including roles in HR operations, policy, or transformation.
  • Strong understanding of Australian employment law and compliance standards.
  • Demonstrated experience leading HR improvement or harmonization initiatives in a complex business environment.
