About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Facilities Director to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of our facilities, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards and providing a safe and welcoming environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilities Management: Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, including repairs, renovations and capital projects.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of facilities staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to perform their roles effectively.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination, particularly in relation to resident care and services.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our facilities management processes.
  • Aged Care Standards: Ensure that all facilities management activities are compliant with relevant Aged Care Standards and regulations.

Requirements

  • RN with AHPRA Registration: Possess current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • 3 Years Facilities Management Experience: Have at least 3 years' experience in facilities management, preferably in a healthcare or aged care setting.
  • Leadership and Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and make informed decisions that align with the organisation's goals and objectives.
