Job Description

A compassionate Kinship Placement Support Worker is required to work alongside carers and support services to ensure children remain connected to their culture, identity and community.

  • Support Kinship Carers to build strong, nurturing environments that promote stability and well-being.
  • Partner with families and community services to provide tailored support plans and contribute to care planning and placement stability.
  • Lead carer inductions and develop strategies to identify training needs and boost carer confidence.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in social or behavioural sciences, social work, or psychology, along with proven ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport across diverse groups.
  • Effective time management and organisational skills.
