Job Overview

The Trade Support Analyst/Engineer plays a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive support throughout the trade lifecycle.

This position involves collaborating with both Trading and Execution teams (front office) and Allocation and Settlement teams (back office) to ensure seamless operations and outstanding service in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • You will contribute to the front-to-back trading desk, providing operational technical support across the Global Equities platform estate.
  • By ensuring the timely delivery of key operational projects and initiatives, you will offer regular updates regarding Equities Operational changes to stakeholders, users, and the wider Technology Enterprise team.
  • You will work closely with business stakeholders and deliver prompt responses to inquiries, supporting key cash execution platforms including Instinet Newport, FIS, and Fusion Raptor.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in a previous Front/Back Office Support role is essential.
  • Previous experience working with execution and trading platforms, particularly exposure to Insitinet Newport, FIS, and IRESS, would be highly regarded.
  • A strong understanding of Windows Server, Unix, and SQL (both in physical and cloud environments) is necessary.
  • Experience of order lifecycles to support Trading products is also required.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Execution (Algorithmic & DMA trading) and FIX protocol is expected.
