**Global Markets Operations Role Overview**

The team is responsible for the end-to-end trade lifecycle management. This includes processes such as GM Onboarding & Static Data Maintenance, Trade Support - Middle Office, Collateral Management, Regulatory Reporting, Confirmations and Settlement.

This role reports directly to a manager who oversees the operational aspects of the Global Market Operations team.

The MO Business Solutions Specialist contributes to strategy by providing leadership and governance on the COO's strategic agenda. This involves ensuring program health, managing workforce planning, and giving operational support to customer-facing business counterparts.

**Key Responsibilities Include:**

- Understanding system interfaces and infrastructure.

- Leading and driving projects independently, owning end-to-end process from data collection to model deployment.

- Collaborating with business and cross-functional teams to understand needs and implement solutions.

- Contributing to functional design conversion of business and customer needs into desired outcomes.

- Assessing dependencies and associated risk and compliance implications of requirements and solutions.

- Understanding internal and external client interactions and sourcing information from established relationships.

- Reporting processing/operational risk issues to management and executing manual/system-based controls to mitigate risks.

- Executing testing of systems and changes to processes/workflows.

**Requirements:**

- Relevant operations experience.

- AFMA Accreditation desirable.

- Tertiary qualifications in finance discipline highly desirable.

- Proven communicator with stakeholders, able to work to tight deadlines.

- High motivation and resilience levels.

- Outstanding written communication skills.

- Ability to work independently, influence and work with stakeholders.

- Proven ability to deliver challenging tasks to tight deadlines, evidenced by experience in owning complex initiatives.
