Job Description

You will serve as a critical control point for the seamless flow of derivatives trades through the firm's operational and risk infrastructure. Your role is to ensure high accuracy and timeliness in trade and position reporting and reconciliation, as well as proactive identification and resolution of operational risks.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Trade lifecycle oversight: Resolve breaks between front office, clearing, and back-office systems
  • P&L and Reporting: Own the daily P&L reconciliation and explain discrepancies to traders and finance; support queries relating to P&L reporting to various stakeholders
  • Control and Governance: Act as a critical control point for trade amendments, corporate actions, and expiries; deliver daily P&L controls, compliance flags, and support audit readiness
Your Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking an individual with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting (preferred) and 5 years relevant experience in banks, hedge funds, trading firms. Proficiency in tools like Python, SQL, Excel (VBA) (preferred but not essential) and strong understanding of derivatives markets and products are also desired.
