Job Title: Business Development Manager

The Goal: We're seeking an experienced professional to drive growth and expand our market reach by developing and executing business strategies, building relationships, and delivering business plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to grow business value and achieve strategic goals.">
  • Conduct market research and analyse industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential new markets, customers, and partnerships.">
  • Develop and deliver proposals and presentations to current and potential members/customers.">
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with members, customers, and partners.">
  • Manage existing customer accounts and identify opportunities for growth.">
  • Negotiate and finalise contracts with new and existing clients, ensuring compliance with legal and contractual obligations.">
  • Determine appropriate measures, scales, and targets, and analyse data to identify areas for improvement.">
  • Prepare reports and presentations on business development activities.">
  • Attend industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.">

Capabilities we're seeking:

  • Proven business development and sales experience in payments, preferably in a merchant-facing capacity.">
  • Experience creating and maintaining organisational strategies to align business plans, actions, and resources with high-level objectives.">
  • Proven ability to assess the attractiveness of potential investments or projects.">
  • Experience managing the preparation and submission of bids and proposals for contracts, grants, projects, or services.">
  • Ability to influence stakeholder attitudes, decisions, and actions for mutual benefit.">
  • A proactive approach to driving opportunities and growth.">
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.">
