We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join our team in the Emergency Management Branch. As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in supporting capability development in the emergency management sector, informing policy directions, and conducting cross-government stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development of capability in the emergency management sector
- Inform policy directions through research and analysis
- Conduct cross-government stakeholder management to achieve project goals
- Facilitate service delivery reforms or major initiatives
- Provide well-researched and sound options to inform decision-making
We are looking for a motivated and experienced professional who is eager to make a difference in the communities of NSW. You will have experience in developing and implementing service delivery reforms, strategic initiatives, or interagency projects with a focus on capability development.
You will also have:
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications or equivalent, relevant professional experience, and training
- Experience in leading and project managing complex, cross-agency projects
- Solutions-focussed, with the ability to work well under pressure and manage competing demands and changing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and engage senior decision-makers with confidence
- Experience in undertaking all aspects of the policy process – research, development, implementation, review, and evaluation
