About the Role

Gallagher Bassett is seeking a skilled Capability Specialist to support our NSW Workers Compensation function. In this role, you will work closely with our claims and rehabilitation personnel to deliver coaching, development, and capability improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate face-to-face visits with Return to Work Specialists, injured workers, employers, treating health practitioners, and allied health professionals to empower and influence parties to participate in the return to work process.
  • Provide constructive feedback to Return to Work Specialists and their Team Managers in a continuous improvement framework.
  • Undertake desktop audits of documentation to assist stakeholders in their return to work journey.
  • Undertake provider education to influence and negotiate better outcomes and understand the RTW Scheme and early intervention processes.
  • Support and educate employers and workers in completing workers compensation documentation.
