About the Opportunity

EML is seeking a skilled Capability Development Specialist to join our team based in Newcastle and Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping us make a positive impact on people's lives every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver training programs to support the growth and development of our team members.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to ensure our team members have the necessary skills and competencies to perform their roles effectively.
  • Collaborate with our claims staff to identify learning needs and develop solutions to address them.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of our EML frameworks to support the continuous improvement of our team members.
  • Work closely with our stakeholders to build and maintain strong relationships and ensure the delivery of our strategy and objectives.

About You

  • You have experience working within the NSW workers compensation system, which is a plus.
  • You have a proven track record of achieving business objectives and delivering results.
  • You possess excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate our team members.
  • You have strong analytical, evaluation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deliver innovative solutions.
  • You have high attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • You have strong stakeholder management skills and a drive to provide exceptional service to our customers.
  • You have experience working in a demanding, high-volume, and deadline-driven environment.
  • You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite products, including intermediate to advanced skills in MS Word and MS Excel.
