About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Sales Representative to join our team at Amazon. As a Cloud Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and adoption of cloud services across a specific geography and startup segments.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prospect and acquire new business opportunities for assigned territory
  2. Identify and drive full sales cycles remotely
  3. Understand the business development process and handle technical objections while positioning AWS services to meet customer requirements
  4. Articulate and deliver business value that describes AWS services and pricing
  5. Partner with the broader country team to establish and execute the go-to-market strategy as well as with individual customers
  6. Achieve monthly business goals including but not limited to pipeline generation and closed revenue
  7. Maintain a prescribed cadence of activities
  8. Stay current on Amazon Web Services products, technology, and business technical certifications
  9. Record all customer information and maintain detailed tele-qualification records in the CRM on each prospective customer
Requirements
  • Knowledge of existing and developing technologies
  • 1+ years of technology-related sales, business development, or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce, and web-based meeting applications
  • AWS Certification - 'Cloud Practitioner Essentials' course (or similar), would be highly beneficial
