The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Sales Development Representative to join our team at Nutanix. As a key member of our Inside Sales team, you will play a pivotal role in generating pipeline and driving revenue growth.

About the Role

You will be responsible for identifying and nurturing potential new business opportunities through inbound and outbound initiatives. This will involve connecting with prospects, building rapport, and educating them on our solution to facilitate closing deals.

Your Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritize sales opportunities through prospecting and lead generation
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
  • Work closely with field sales teams to break open key target whitespace accounts
  • Utilize a variety of prospecting tools and techniques to uncover relevant prospects
  • Execute outbound sales-led campaigns to drive new business acquisition

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of successful sales experience, preferably in software or IT products
  • Knowledge of virtualization, storage, and cloud computing marketplaces
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proven track record of consistency in overachieving targets
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing initiatives
