Project Coordination Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Contracts Manager to oversee a major project in Western Sydney. This role will involve coordinating the financial and logistical aspects of the project, ensuring it is delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate cost forecasts and monitor the project's financial status
  • Provide insightful input for financial reports to stakeholders
  • Ensure site supervisory staff understand the project scope and objectives
  • Prepare tender documentation required for sub-contractor procurement
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, sub-contractors, suppliers, and consultants
  • Liaise with clients regarding progress claims to Head Contract

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Building, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying
  • Experience working on commercial projects, particularly Tier 1 or 2 experience
  • Understanding of Australian commercial and legal issues pertaining to head contracts
  • A working knowledge of major building trades
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
