Job Title: Senior IT Project Coordinator

The role of a senior IT project coordinator is pivotal in the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate IT projects to ensure timely completion within scope and aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with project managers to define scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Monitor timelines and budgets; prepare regular status reports.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Manage documentation including schedules, risk logs, and meeting minutes.
  • Track budgets, procurement, and resource allocation.
Key Relationships:
  • Business and ICT delivery teams.
  • Project sponsors and governance groups.
  • External stakeholders (e.g., state partners).

Mandatory skills and qualifications include:

  • A minimum 2 years' experience in IT project support or coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-team coordination skills.
  • Strong organisational and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in project tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
