About this HR Role

We are seeking a skilled Generalist HR Professional to join our team in Western Australia.

This is a true generalist position, covering employee relations and recruitment to policy guidance and cultural initiatives.

You will play a pivotal role in supporting retail operations across the region and reporting directly to the HR Manager.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience in an HR advisory or generalist role, ideally within the retail sector or a similarly fast-paced environment.

  • Provide HR guidance on employment terms and workplace matters to managers and employees.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, shortlisting, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Support performance review processes, training needs, and employee development initiatives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations, addressing concerns and escalating issues as needed.
  • Assist with updating and maintaining HR policies to ensure compliance with workplace legislation.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and support HR reporting and administrative processes.

Requirements:

  • Proven competency in full-cycle recruitment—and comfortable managing multiple vacancies and stakeholder relationships simultaneously.
  • Solid understanding of Australian workplace legislation, modern awards, employee relations, and HR compliance.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills; able to handle sensitive workplace issues with discretion and empathy.
  • Highly organised, adaptable, and able to prioritise effectively in a dynamic environment.
