Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled HR professional to step into a key role as part of a temporary maternity leave cover.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration and coordination of all HR, recruiting, and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) activities.

Key Responsibilities

The primary focus of this role is on day-to-day HR operations and managing people processes. This includes:

  • Recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, training initiatives, payroll, employee retention, and separations;
  • Providing advisory support to employees, helping to foster a positive work environment;
Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this position, you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field;
  • A certificate in Occupational Health & Safety (desirable);
  • AHRI or affiliate professional membership desirable;
  • No less than 5 years experience in a generalist HR role; and
  • Deep knowledge of HR practices, Fair Work Legislation and employment obligations.
