The Enterprise Strategy team leads technology solutions and services that underpin operations.
The team drives strategic development, provides portfolio management and coordination across the division. It promotes best practice in governance and performance reporting for digital initiatives.
The team brings together enabling functions of the division – such as governance, program management, procurement, contract management, enterprise strategy, and architecture. It also has a focus on interoperability and resilience.
In this role, you will lead the development, implementation, and governance of enterprise architecture frameworks within ONI, including setting strategic technology priorities to guide transformation.
You will drive collaborative technology strategy across the NIC, shaping shared priorities and fostering alignment.
This role presents an opportunity to lead enterprise technology strategy and architecture within ONI, while shaping and influencing digital transformation across the broader NIC.
We are seeking an experienced leader to lead the Enterprise Strategy team.
As a Director, your role would be to:
- drive strategies and roadmaps to guide technology enhancement and change
- support alignment of systems integration activities and recommend future improvements
- provide specialist advice to support architectural governance and decision making
- facilitate engagement across the NIC to identify solutions to promote technological interoperability and resilience
- ensure governance, compliance, and risk management in architectural processes
- track progress made on digital and enterprise technology investment, and industry outreach
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- lead technical professionals to provide advice and support to digital and data enterprise,
- provide sound strategic advice and judgment to support decision making,
- communicate effectively within and across teams, divisions, agencies, and the NIC,
- operate in a high-tempo environment that relies on adaptability and flexibility, prioritising support to fit Divisional priorities,
- demonstrate Enterprise Architecture Experience (including technology roadmaps).
- Bachelor degree and/or Postgraduate qualifications in relevant fields such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Business/Public Policy (with a tech/strategy focus)
- ITIL, COBIT, or other service management/governance frameworks
- Project / Program Management certifications
