Job Description

As a Disability Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities. Our organization provides support services for people with complex needs, and we are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team.

You will work closely with clients to develop personalized care plans, providing support with daily living activities, personal care, and community participation. Your role will involve working collaboratively with our Operations Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with clients and the Operations Manager.
  • Provide support with daily living activities, personal care, and community participation.
  • Assist clients with accessing their local community and attending appointments as required.
  • Monitor client behavior and oversee the implementation of their activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid First Aid Certificate.
  • An unrestricted driving licence.
  • A Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check or National Police Check.
  • Prior experience working with mental health clients and organizations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive, reliable, and empathetic approach to supporting individuals with disabilities.
