About the Role

The Sales Support Administrator will play a key role in providing effective and timely support to the sales team, handling customer master data, and collaborating with system administrators to ensure system integrity is maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accuracy and cleanliness of data within all the systems;
  • Audit and cleanse data to prevent duplication and maintain data quality;
  • Provide front-line support for sales system related issues;
  • Collaborate with global and local IT teams to resolve technical problems;
  • Manage user roles, profiles, and permissions to ensure data security and appropriate access levels;
  • Onboard new users and deactivate old users;
  • End-to-end set of accounts for new customers;
  • Liaise with the sales team to update and validate customer information, manage account changes, and ensure the integrity of the data throughout the customer lifecycle;
  • Engage the credit team to resolve invoice related issues;
  • Apply a compliance focused mindset across all operations, and;
  • Ensure a safety-first approach.

About You

The ideal candidate will be equipped with the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

  • 2+ years' experience in a similar customer service role, preferably supporting sales activities;
  • Strong customer focus and ability to both determine customer needs and ways to satisfy them;
  • Well versed with corporate standards in relation to customer service;
  • Proven capability to handle multiple systems and prioritise work to meet tight deadlines during peak periods;
  • Moderate-to-high level of proficiency with CRM, SAP, and MS Office;
  • Exposure to SP4 (preferred);
  • Ability to understand technical language;
  • Proactive, resourceful, and self-starting approach;
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn;
  • Adaptability and readiness to handle multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment;
  • Exemplary understanding of compliance rules, with a proactive mindset and the ability to act as a role model in upholding and promoting compliance standards, and;
  • Excellent attention to details and analytical, interpersonal, written and verbal communication, organisational, task management skills.
