The Retail Support Estimator role is a key position within the Dennis Family Corporation, responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate review and implementation of requested documentation. This involves delivering Variation Catalogue items and Standard Design Options in accordance with established timelines, quality standards, and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Removal of expired and discontinued products from offer.
  • Validation of Contract output descriptions to ensure accuracy and clarity for clients and the wider business.
  • Validation of retail pricing for VPB selections to maintain margin.
  • Maintenance of the Sales Force sales catalogue in line with the VPB master file.
  • Estimation of Variation Price Book selections using recipes in the Databuild estimating system.
  • Communication of changes to the Variation Price Book, including new products, price changes, and description alterations.
  • Liaison with the Tech Services Estimating team to establish accurate pricing on new selections.
  • Ensuring documentation meets DFC standards, legislation requirements, and service standards.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Minimum 5 years residential construction background and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years estimating experience with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Good organisational abilities.
  • Sound Databuild software skills and Microsoft Excel and Word experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret Architectural plans and identify anomalies.
