Job Description

The NSW Government is seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join the team at O'Brien Referral Centre. This role will provide administrative support in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accurate and timely processing of referrals and client records.

About the Role

This position is responsible for:

  • Ensuring accurate and appropriate referral information is collected and entered into patient databases;
  • Registering and maintaining client records for Community Mental Health, Homeless Health, and Alcohol and Drug Services;
  • Responding to incoming enquiries via the O'Brien Referral Centre;

In return, we offer a competitive salary range of $73,551.21 - $75,219.36 per annum, plus generous benefits including salary packaging, fitness passport, and access to clinical and non-clinical education programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong customer service skills and experience working in a busy service environment;
  • Highly competent in using MS software and patient information management databases;
  • Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision;
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing workloads effectively.
