About the Role: We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated individuals to join our team as Emergency Medical Call Takers. This role involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, responding to emergency calls, and providing critical care advice to those in need.
Job Description:
- Responsibilities: Receive and record emergency phone calls, provide lifesaving first aid advice, and ensure callers receive necessary information and support until paramedics arrive on scene.
- Working Environment: Our control centres operate 24/7, and successful candidates will work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other staff members to achieve excellent patient outcomes and contribute to a positive and supportive team culture.
Requirements:
- Essential Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and a calm and composed demeanor in stressful situations.
- Qualifications: A valid First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) or willingness to obtain prior to commencement, and confirmation of Aboriginal identity if applying for the targeted Aboriginal pathway.
