Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Design Engineer to join our Civil Team, providing Utility engineering services to the Transport, Defence and Water Infrastructure Markets.

Responsibilities
  • Study, design, specification and services of utilities infrastructure, specifically in the area of transport and water.
  • Devise new approaches to problems encountered. Plans, schedules, and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
  • Perform work which involve conventional engineering practice but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Engineering along with experience in design and/or practical experience in the coordination and delivery of utility designs and approvals throughout the design and construction process.
  • Working knowledge of commercial arrangements and relationships within the Utilities design and construction process.
  • Strong technical design ability specifically in the Utilities environment. AutoCAD, 12D, Civil3D, Navisworks highly regarded – not essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong practical knowledge of and commitment to health and safety
  • Chartered Status is Preferred
