Senior Infrastructure Designer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Utility Engineer to join our Civil and Highways Engineering team in New South Wales, Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to take a key part in supporting a pipeline of infrastructure projects across the country.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize Civil 3D or 12D software to provide 3D modeling, coordination, and clash detection of utilities in appropriate 3D software.
- Identify utility impacts resulting from civil/structural designs and resolve clashes and spaceproof design relocations.
- Coordinate with utility authorities to obtain inputs for design, protection, and relocation requirements and approvals.
- Manage subcontractors such as Water Service Coordinators (WSC) and Electrical designers (ASP3).
- Review design documents and ensure compliance with project components, including drawings, reports, specifications, and interfaces with other disciplines.
- Collaborate with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design.
- Liaise with the Project Manager and client to keep them informed of project developments.
- Provide leadership and technical advice to project team members.
- Manage design development, quality assurance, and client feedback, ensuring effective communication of changes/modifications.
- Degree-qualified engineering professional with professional accreditation.
- Demonstrated years of relevant post-graduate experience, including supervising aspects of a project, application of standards, and technical knowledge.
- Experience managing utility approval processes for major utility relocation and protection designs on infrastructure projects.
- Able to lead, with good influencing, motivating, and delegation skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary design and/or project teams.

What We Offer- A competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
