We're seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to join our senior leadership team in New South Wales.

In this role, you'll lead engineering aspects of key water and wastewater infrastructure projects, shaping systems and processes, and contributing to our growth.

  • Oversee engineering management for water and wastewater projects from design to construction.
  • Develop and implement governance frameworks for high-quality project delivery.
  • Collaborate with design teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure feasible and cost-effective designs.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on design and construction phases, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site managers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination between design, engineering, and construction activities.
  • Mentor engineering teams, providing necessary resources, skills, and training.
  • Identify potential risks related to engineering and construction, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
  • Contribute to the growth of the water and wastewater team through mentorship and fostering a culture of excellence.

This role can be based in Sydney or one of our other key metropolitan offices, with flexibility considered.

**Requirements:**

  • Proven experience in engineering management within the water and wastewater sector.
  • Background in civil or mechanical engineering.
  • Strong expertise in design and construct projects, with contractor-side delivery experience.
  • Passion for building and improving systems, processes, and governance frameworks.
  • Natural problem solver with experience in client-facing roles.
