Job Summary
We're seeking a talented HR Advisor or Business Partner to join our dynamic team in Canberra. As a key member of our People and Culture team, you'll support operational leaders, manage employee relations matters, and develop strategic projects across areas such as reporting, retention, and industry networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and develop operational leaders to achieve business objectives
- Manage employee relations matters, including performance issues, investigations, and terminations
- Coach and mentor operational managers and team leaders to improve their skills and performance
- Develop and implement strategic projects to improve HR processes and systems
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in HR, preferably in a leadership or advisory role
- Qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or equivalent discipline
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work within internal procedures and systems
