Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop best practice solutions, strategies, and programs to deliver BaptistCare's strategic and operational workforce objectives.
  • Work closely with the HR & Employment Relations Lead to identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities to evolve our HR practices.
  • Partner with business leaders to support the timely identification and management of workplace relations matters.
  • Provide guidance and support in relation to the management of non-work-related injuries.
  • Contribute to the development of P&C initiatives, projects, and programs designed to optimise organisational performance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources or Industrial Relations within a widely distributed, unionised workforce.
  • Demonstrable experience in case management activities, supporting the resolution of employment relation and industrial relation matters effectively and in line with legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to partner with business leaders to support the timely identification and management of workplace relations matters.
  • Current Australian driver's licence and commitment to occasional travel.
  • Applied knowledge of culture, performance, and leadership.
  • Proven problem-solver and sponsor of innovative and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrable experience in providing guidance and support in relation to the management of non-work-related injuries.
  • Relevant qualification and/or experience in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Organisational Design or similar.
  • Genuine alignment to BaptistCare's vision, purpose, and values.
