Procurement Business Partner Role

The Procurement Business Partner is a key member of the Procurement and Contracts Team, supporting the Global Corporate Operations Branch at the Australian Trade and Investment Commission. This role is responsible for delivering a range of procurement and contract management activities and functions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert procurement and contract management advice and support to internal stakeholders, leveraging business partnering principles to drive value and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Manage procurement reporting activities, including AusTender reporting and data analysis, to inform business decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with business areas to identify and address procurement and contract management needs, developing solutions to drive business outcomes.
  • Apply a continuous improvement approach to the procurement and contract management function, identifying opportunities to enhance processes and drive efficiency.
  • Support the development and maintenance of internal templates and databases, ensuring accurate and timely information is available to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Australian Citizenship: Our successful candidate must be an Australian citizen.
  • Security Clearance: Our successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance.
