The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team as a Strategic Governance Associate. As part of our Company Secretariat, you will play a key role in ensuring good governance and supporting the effectiveness of our corporate governance framework.

Your responsibilities will include drafting Board papers, minutes, and action items, as well as following up on outstanding action items and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. You will also assist with the preparation of shareholders' meeting agendas, chairman script, minutes, and action summaries.

Requirements
  • You should have a graduate qualification in commerce, business, governance, or law.
  • An Associate or Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia is highly regarded.
  • You must have excellent organisational skills, including the ability to set priorities and pursue tasks to completion within deadlines.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management and communications skills are essential.
  • You should have advanced computer and document control knowledge and experience.
  • Experience with electronic board, share registry, and regulatory portals is desirable.
  • A high degree of diplomacy and discretion, with the ability to maintain confidentiality, is required.

In addition to your technical skills, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
