Cinema and Events Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the daily operations of a major cinema venue. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site set-up and pack-down, coordinating season bump-in and bump-out, and leading a team of up to 60 staff.
About the Role- Manage all aspects of venue operations, including logistics, scheduling, and staffing
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth delivery of events
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to achieve operational excellence
- Manage food and beverage operations, including inventory control and financial management
- Oversight sponsorship activations and ensure contractual deliverables are met
- Prepare rosters and manage payroll for all staff
- Implement operational plans and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a management role, preferably in the entertainment or events industry
- Previous experience in food and beverage, customer service, and team leadership
- Cinema or event management experience is highly advantageous
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions when required
