Casual/Vacation – Event Management

$50/hr + Travel Reimbursed

We're looking for a confident, experienced On-site Event Manager to help us deliver standout community and public events across Greater Melbourne. This is a high-paying casual role, primarily on weekends, perfect for someone who is happy working outdoors, thrives under pressure, and enjoys keeping events running like clockwork.


About the Role

As our Onsite Event Manager, you'll be the go-to person on event day — overseeing everything from bump-in to bump-out. You'll liaise with suppliers, performers, contractors, and vendors, ensuring everything is safe, smooth, and on schedule.

This is a hands-on, high-responsibility role ideal for someone who knows how to lead a team, troubleshoot with confidence, and represent a professional, friendly face on site.

** All event coordination is managed by our full-time team and details are provided in a 1:1 briefing prior to going on-site.


What You'll Do

  • Manage and coordinate onsite event logistics
  • Supervise suppliers, performers, food vendors, and contractors
  • Handle real-time problem-solving and communication with stakeholders
  • Ensure safety compliance and uphold high operational standards
  • Represent our brand with enthusiasm and a positive attitude

What We're Looking For

  • Event management experience, ideally with outdoor or community/public events
  • Great people skills — calm, clear communicator, confident leader
  • Able to manage multiple moving parts and adapt quickly
  • Willingness to work weekends and variable hours
  • Tech-friendly — able to complete forms and safety checklists online

Essential Requirements

  • Current driver's license and own reliable vehicle (travel reimbursed)
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Availability for weekend events (we will provide as much notice as possible)
  • Completion of online safety and management induction before first shift
