Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Events Manager to lead our team of onsite crew and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, including site setup and pack-down, coordinating season bump-in and bump-out, and overseeing sponsorship activations.

They will also be responsible for recruiting, training, and developing staff, as well as managing food and beverage operations, including ordering, invoice processing, and stock control.

Additionally, the Events Manager will prepare rosters and manage payroll, AV operations, and implement management plans to ensure WHS compliance.

Key Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a management role
  • Previous experience in food and beverage and customer service
  • Cinema management or event management experience is advantageous

The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, initiative, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills.

They will also have a collaborative approach with a can-do attitude and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
