This role is ideal for a seasoned team leader with a passion for events and delivering exceptional guest experiences. If you have a proven track record in managing daily operations, coordinating season bump-in and bump-out, and leading a team of onsite crew, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

About the Job

  • Manage daily operations: Ensure smooth day-to-day running of the venue, including site set-up and pack-down, and coordinate season bump-in and bump-out.
  • Lead a team: Work closely with the Assistant Venue Manager to lead a team of ~60 onsite crew, responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Coordinate food & beverage operations: Oversee ordering, invoice processing, and stock control to ensure seamless service.
  • Sponsorship activations: Implement sponsorship plans and ensure contractual deliverables are met to a high standard.
  • Implement management plans: Develop and implement management plans to ensure WHS compliance and efficient operations.

About You

  • Minimum 2 years' experience: In a management role, preferably in events or customer service.
  • Cinema management experience: A plus, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
  • Strong leadership skills: Proven ability to motivate and lead a casual workforce.
