Job Overview

The German-Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce is seeking a proactive Membership Consultant with strong customer service skills for our Sydney office.

  • Manage corporate members in New South Wales, Queensland, Tasmania, and the Northern Territory.
  • Proactively handle member inquiries and promote their interests in close coordination with our team.
  • Develop targeted membership acquisition and retention strategies to achieve our goals.
  • Identify new member opportunities through research and follow-up on existing leads.
  • Ensure accuracy in our membership database and analyze trends for member needs and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Building and maintaining relationships with existing members to ensure satisfaction and long-term engagement.
  • Collaborating with our Events team to reflect member ideas and interests in our events calendar.
  • Collaborating with our Marketing team to include membership content in our marketing material.
  • Supporting event development and organisation in collaboration with our Events team.
  • Representing us at networking events, trade fairs, and member activities to foster connections and promote membership opportunities.

Reporting directly to the Head of Membership.
