The GIANTS are on an exciting journey both on and off the field. With teams in the AFL, the AFL Women's League and Super Netball competitions, the GIANTS truly are a club like no other.
On field, the AFL team has quickly grown into one of the competition's most exciting teams with several players becoming household names across the country. Likewise, the on-field achievements of our AFL Women's and GIANTS Netball teams are seeing the club connect with more fans and followers than ever before.
Off field, the club's exciting, innovative, and fresh brand is growing as it engages with members, fans, the community and key stakeholders across Western Sydney, Canberra and Nationally.
The GIANTS' AFL and AFL Women's teams are based at the club's elite training and administration facility in Sydney Olympic Park, with GIANTS Netball based adjacent at Netball Central.

**Description**:
A broad and exciting opportunity available to join the Consumer Team as a Membership & Experience Casual to assist us in best in class customer services connecting with our existing GIANTS members, fans and new audiences. You will also support in delivering unforgettable experiences and drive the GIANTS brand across new audiences. If you have a passion for sports and providing the best customer service then you are the right person for the role.
You do not need to be an AFL fan to excel in this role, we need casuals with new ideas and excited to learn more about the world of professional sports.
POSITION PURPOSE
GIANTS Membership & Experiences Casuals is responsible for generating membership and ticketing sales, whilst building a strong connection with our GIANTS members. You will be responsible for the achievement of daily sales through inbound and outbound calls and ensuring membership enquiries are responded to in a timely manner. You will also support with our game-day events and fan engagement activities across the season.
This is an exciting role for someone who is interested in a career in sports and wants to gain experience in working for a professional sporting club.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Process new memberships and renewals through the Clubs CRM
- Provide unparalleled customer service to a wide range of stakeholders. i.e. members, fans, and corporate guests
- Using highly engaging customer service skills, assist in creating long lasting fandom within the GIANTS database
- Outbound sales call to un-renewed members, new ticketing sales prospects and Group Sales initiatives
Support the event set up and pack down process across a variety of GIANTS events including GIANTS home games at GIANTS Stadium and on occasion Manuka Oval, Canberra
Be a key GIANTS ambassador and support across our roaming Street Team to connect with broader audiences
Hours for this position will vary, however availability during the week and weekend is preferred.
