The German-Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic membership professional with strong customer service skills for our Sydney office.
- Responsibility for current and potential corporate members from New South Wales, Queensland, Tasmania, and Northern Territory.
- Proactively manage members' enquiries and promote their interests in close coordination with the entire team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing members to ensure satisfaction and long-term engagement.
- Develop and execute targeted membership acquisition and retention strategies in alignment with AHK Australien's goals.
- Identify and approach potential new members through research and follow-up existing leads.
- Manage the membership database to ensure accuracy and analyse trends for member needs and opportunities.
- Contribute to further development of membership services.
- Collaborate with the events team to reflect members' ideas and interests in the events calendar.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to include membership content in marketing material.
- Support event development and organisation in collaboration with the events team.
- Support the corporate services team with market knowledge and facilitate access to member companies for service requests.
- Represent the organisation at networking events, trade fairs, and member activities to foster connections and promote membership opportunities.
- General office administration support.
