About the Role:

The Advertising Executive role at Seven West Media will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building customer relationships, and driving growth for our company. This role will cover the territory of Joondalup & Wanneroo, focusing on small to medium businesses to deliver advertising solutions that will help our clients grow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly revenue targets by developing and executing sales strategies to expand our client base.
  • Develop new opportunities to grow business revenue across the Joondalup & Wanneroo portfolio, leveraging industry knowledge and relationships.
  • Actively prospect and seek new business to expand our client base, utilizing strong sales acumen and communication skills.
  • Create and confidently present high-quality sales proposals and strategies to clients, showcasing our advertising solutions.
  • Champion dedicated features relevant to PerthNow Local, such as retail and lifestyle, to drive engagement and revenue growth.
  • Represent Seven West Media WA and PerthNow Local with a high level of customer service, ensuring exceptional client experiences.

Requirements:

  • Strong sales acumen with proven ability to drive and deliver new business, with a focus on small to medium businesses.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and prospects.
  • Confidence in cold calling, prospecting, and closing new business, with a strong understanding of the media industry.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting sales targets.
  • Enthusiasm for growing the Joondalup Wanneroo patch and acquiring new customers, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
